ride home films spaghetti dinner!

Please join us at TV’s Deli & Diner on the evening of Tuesday, August 11th from 5pm til 8:30pm, for food, drinks, raffle baskets, 50/50, and a great time with friends and family to support independent film!

Downriver filmmaking duo Charlotte Moretti and Jillian Bokatzian are set to begin shooting their sophomore feature film, Staring at the Sun, this September in Michigan, and 100% of the proceeds from this dinner will go towards the many production costs associated with indie filmmaking.

Food will be made with love by Chef Charly Bokatzian of Wyandotte’s famed Charly’s on the River. 

Tickets will be sold at the door for $25/person, with kids 10 and under eating free! But please RSVP at the link above. We can’t wait to see everyone there! And thank you in advance!

Do I need to buy a ticket ahead of time?

No! But please RSVP on our website so that we have a headcount.

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets will be sold at the door via cash, card, or Venmo. Cash encouraged! 

What’s on the menu?

Chef Charly Bokatzian will be serving up spaghetti with marinara sauce, meatballs, garlic bread, and his famous Caesar salad, along with soft drinks and a variety of desserts donated by our loving family and friends. You will also have the option to purchase wine and beer from the restaurant. 

What is the parking like?

TV’s Deli & Diner has a decent-sized lot, but it fills up very quickly. We encourage anyone to carpool, if you can! 

What will my money go towards?

Great question! We currently need funds to secure locations, get insurance for those rentals, rent equipment, fund wardrobe and props, feed our amazing cast and crew, and lodge our team when shooting on location in the UP. Making an independent movie truly takes a village, and we are endlessly grateful for the support we have always received from our community. 

Will I be able to purchase your lovely Ride Home Films shirts at this event?

Our shirts are made-to-order, so unfortunately they won’t be for sale at the event - but you can snag them at the link here! 

What kind of raffle baskets will be included? How can I enter to win?

You can purchase raffle tickets, as well as 50/50 tickets, via cash or Venmo. Raffle baskets include things like sports paraphernalia, gift cards and products from local small retail businesses and restaurants, and specially-curated themed bundles.
